Born and raised in Hawaii, Patrick Ching has acquired a deep rooted love for the islands which he portrays in his artwork and writing. By working in the field as a part time wildlife ranger, Ching has developed an innate appreciation for the animals and environment which inspire his work. At age 37 he has already received international recognition for his intricately detailed artwork depicting Hawaii's native flora and fauna.
