PATRICK'S NEW YEAR ADDRESS
2010 is looking like a wonderful year of growth and learning. The past couple of years have certainly made us all look closely at what we are doing. It pays to be as efficient and effective as we can so that we can enjoy this beautiful planet for the time we have. I want to ask you something...What do you really Love? What do you love to do? Eat? Taste? Who do you like to be with? Dream a little. What does your life look like at its highest peak of success? Notice how your body chemistry changes when you think of these things. My new years wish for you is that you feel this way more often. That is what the world desires for you.
Cherish the blessings you already have, give each other aloha every chance you get, and keep dreaming your life and living your dream.
Happy New Year my friend, I can't wait to see you again.

About every other month I head up to the Mainland to meet with a large group of international business owners. The Forum is known as CEO Space. We learn from each other and support one another. I totally encourage my friends with great ambitions to be a part of this. It is so good for me. The coolest part is that I get to meet Famous animals. I am now doing a painting of Challenger, the American Eagle Foundation's free flying eagle. This is Viva a miniature donkey I got to hang out with at the last forum in Las Vegas.

Let your Mediums SHINE.
Use Oils like oils, use watercolors like watercolors and pastels like pastels. Let the medium look its Best! People are actually "in Love with rich oil painting colors swirling together in wet blends. We enjoy life's delicacies through a well rendered watercolor. We like to get to know the artist personally through the DNA of their pencil marks- as individual as their fingerprints. When I compose a scene in my mind I ask myself "what medium will this piece look best in?" Oil? Acrylic? Pastel? What medium really compliments the mood of this scene? What's a Brazillian...?
Hint:
"It's more than a Gazillian!"
 Actually these red crested cardinals, also known as "Brazillian Cardinals" were introduced to Hawaii around 1930 from South America.
Whenever a tourist starts to say "Wha..." I tell them "Brazillian Cardinal!" cause I know they're going to ask me "What's the bird with the red head?
The background of this painting features red hibiscus and Kilauea falls on Kauai. This 11x14 oil painting is on special and will sell fast!
