TAHITI ART TOUR 2011 - I’ve

waited a long time to finally make my first trip to the land of Hawaii’s ancestors (Tahiti). The colors and water seems very familiar to me. NEW RELEASE - Ko’olau Classic - I am so happy to announce the completion of my new release, “Ko’olau Classic”. This painting was commissioned by Edward Lindstrom and features his wife Mele’s horses Classy, Joe and Paloma. The scenic Ko’olau mountains of Waimanalo are the backdrop for the painting featuring horses enjoying a field of grass along with the white cattle egrets in flight. Almost all the email responses to whether or not I should keep my mustache were in favor of shaving it for a new look. But, a very special someone said she likes it on. So It seems I’m alternating each week. It’s kinda fun. Woot Woot!

Did you know Patrick Ching’s first paintings were done to decorate his room? This pastel painting was done when he was 14 years old.

What will your instructional DVD Include?
The DVD is all of my techniques and insights on art and oil painting in general. Over 6 hours of instruction. It has a section on Genesis paints in particular. If I wanted to be the best painter I could I would jump at this opportunity. The DVD will include my process of an entire painting and also a special Genesis painting workshop. This is the stuff I was searching for when I decided to become a professional artist.
