Everyone has his favorite. Ilima, the artist's favorite horse, is named after a native orange flower that grows in coastal areas. This matted print of an oil painting by Patrick Ching is set on Crater Hill overlooking the Kilauea Point Lighthouse and Wildlife Refuge on the island of Kauai. Ching was a ranger at Kilauea Point and often patrolled the 160 acre refuge on horseback. | |||
